7 Things You Didn't Know About Me

I’ve been tagged by Yielding Wealth to participate in a meme. (If you don't know what the word "meme" means, you're not alone). Basically, I'm to tell 7 things about myself that you probably didn't know, and then ask 7 others to do the same. This social networking stuff never ceases to amaze me. Sigh.

Alright, here goes:

1. I absolutely cringe whenever someone folds a piece of paper near me. No idea why, but the sound is like nails on a chalkboard to me. My co-workers and friends find this quirk endlessly amusing. 

2. I could spend all day reading. I love almost any genre, from mystery novels to chick lit to poetry. My latest hobby is memorizing favorite poems.

3. I hate swimming in water where I can't see my feet.

4. I get in a slump if I don't make it to the gym at least three times a week.

5. I love trying new restaurants. I'm constantly dragging my husband to places I've read about or holes in the wall that peak my curiosity. 

6. I'm very "listy." I have lists of books I want to read, movies I want to watch, things I need to do, places I want to go...

7. My husband has the same name as my brother, and I have the same name as my husband's sister. It gets a little confusing sometimes.
