Good for you guys for making a change in your life to try and get out of debt! So many people just keep sinking deeper and deeper, and then the credit card balances become just too overwhelming to ever pay off. By staying with your husband's Dad for awhile, you'll hopefully be able to pay down your credit cards and get a fresh start.

And just a suggestion: You can actually call your credit card companies and have them reduce your limit to $2000 if you feel like you don't have the discipline to stay under that limit on your own.
