Thanks for the comment Fiscal Fizzle. I, too, worry about "accidentally unpaid" bills going to collections. I have an old medical bill that keeps coming back to haunt me. I've gone back and forth with my doctor's office about it least 5 times. Each time I explain to them that my insurance has already paid it out, and the doctor's office promises to remove it from my record. And then a couple months later I get the same bill in the mail! I almost wonder if it's worth paying just to make sure it's never sent to a collection agency!
