I had just recently bought a vehicle my first one in about 4 years. Went to Farmers to get insurance. I had never had an accident and was a cop for over 20 years so when went to fill out the form agent started to ask me were I lived and with whom. I told her that was none of her business with whom, she was rude so I became rude and told her drop dead and left. I even told her I was with Farmers over 15 years but that had no influence.

I have waterfront property. On July 4th the bulkhead holding the land in place burst (probably from clogged drains or drain pipes). I have 2 Farmers policies on the property. - homeowners policy and a flood policy. I was assured that these would cover anything that happened. Now that I have a claim I am being told that the homeowners policy doesn't cover the grounds and the flood policy only covers the home. I am complaining to the State Insurance commissioner and anywhere else that I think might help. I will have to walk away from the property and let the whole thing cave in as I cannot afford to fix the problem on my own.

My shower pan went out in my home and caused thousands of dollars worth of damage. The liars and co-artists at Farmers are refusing to pay and I have filed a lawsuit against them. Please stay away from all Farmers Insurance.
